This year we celebrate 100 years since theEcumenical Stockholm meeting 1925” Time for Gods Peace”. The meeting was hosted by the Archbishop NathanSöderblom who had strong visions of Peace. Our hosts will be the Archbishop Emeritus Anders Wejryd and Joanna Svärd, climate activist. The music workshops will be led by internationally renowned choral conductor, Anders Nyberg. Our theme will focus on peace in different perspectives: Peace with Gods earth and our environment, Driving forces for war and peace, Resilience and peacework, Peace and reconciliation and Time for Gods peace. We listen to guests in our talkshow and discuss the topics together. The guests will be of different ages and have different experiences, denominations and backgrounds. We learn from our history, share from our present time and talk about our future, how we can act for peace in our time.
The program offers a variety of activities for different interests and age groups but also leaves space for free time to socialise with the other participants and rest. A majority of this year's program will be conducted in English, with Swedish translation upon request. We serve vegetarian food suitable for all ages. Together, we celebrate mass with songs and hymns that raise the roof! As of tradition, our final night is celebrated with delicious food, festivities, music and dancing.
